LA WEAVE respects your privacy and handles all personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We operate a strict privacy policy and will only use information collected lawfully and responsibly.
We do not store your financial information, which is used solely for processing your booking. Your financial details will never be shared with third parties, unless required by law. This policy applies as long as you comply with our terms and conditions.
Terms and Conditions
By using this website, making a booking (online, telephone, or in person), or attending a course, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Guaranteed Satisfaction
We are committed to ensuring 100% customer satisfaction. If your course does not meet your reasonable expectations, please notify us within 7 days of attendance and we will aim to resolve the issue.
Copyright
All course materials, manuals, website content, and publications are the intellectual property of LA WEAVE. Use of IP monitoring software is in place to prevent unauthorised copying or distribution.
You may not copy, reproduce, sell, hire, or use any LA WEAVE materials for training or commercial purposes—within or outside the UK. Legal action will be taken in cases of copyright infringement.
Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations must be made by both email and telephone at least 14 days before the course start date.
- All fees are strictly non-refundable regardless of any circumstances, including deposits, part-payments, and full fees.
Course Transfer
- Candidates may transfer to a later course at no additional cost, provided at least 14 days’ notice is given by both email and telephone.
- If the candidate later cancels or fails to attend the new course, the full fee is forfeited.
Last-Minute Bookings
Bookings must be made at least 5 days before the course date to ensure kit availability. Later bookings may be refused.
Course Changes
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, you will be notified immediately. You have the option to transfer or delay your course, however no refunds will be given.
Payment Terms
- Full payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed.
- Where credit is granted, payment must be made within 31 days. Late payments will result in your account being passed to a debt collection agency.
Certification
Your certificate permits you to apply and remove LA WEAVE extensions for professional and insurance purposes. It does not entitle you to teach LA WEAVE methods.
Teaching our techniques without a commercial licence and written consent is a breach of intellectual property law and of our terms. Certification is not valid for endorsement by any awarding bodies. To become a certified educator, please contact us for details of our Educators or Academy Programme.
Training Fees
All training fees are strictly non-refundable, regardless of circumstances.
Assessments
All students must submit electronic assessments of their work (via email or website) for professional and insurance purposes.
Disclaimer
LA WEAVE is not responsible for any misuse of its products or services. We are not liable for any loss or damages resulting from misuse by clients or candidates.
Course Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse course attendance to any candidate, at our discretion.
Photographs
Photographs taken during training or submitted to LA WEAVE become the property of LA WEAVE. These may be used for marketing and promotional purposes unless you request otherwise. Your identity or your clients’ identities will remain protected unless permission is given.
Eligibility
We welcome both qualified hairdressers and non-hairdressers. However, we cannot be held responsible for the misuse of professional products or services.
Insurance
It is the candidate’s responsibility to obtain suitable insurance. We can recommend providers if needed.
Liability
It is your responsibility to ensure the course you book is appropriate for your needs and qualifications.
Post-Course Practice & Support
All candidates are required to complete a minimum of 10 hours of practice after completing the course. We offer free technical support to all LA WEAVE graduates.
If you feel unsure or lack confidence after your course, you may attend the training again free of charge.
Refresher Training
You may attend free refresher training with the same trainer for up to six months after your original course date.
- A £50 card authorisation is required at the time of booking.
- If you attend as scheduled, the authorisation will be cancelled.
- If you do not attend, the £50 will be charged, as course spaces are limited and some have waiting lists.
Trainers, Teachers & Organisations
Individuals or organisations attending our courses with the intention of teaching our methods, now or in future, must have prior written permission.
LA WEAVE techniques are protected intellectual property. If you already run courses, we may refuse your booking and will not issue a refund.
Teaching our methods without a commercial licence and written permission will result in legal action for trademark infringement and damages.
Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in an LA WEAVE course, all candidates agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
